Africa Gospel Music Awards nominees list has been released with Kenya's Daddy Owen dominating the list.

Daddy Owen has been nominated in five categories: Best gospel album (System ya Kapungala), Best Male artiste (both in East Africa and overall), Best Song and Video for Saluti. "I am humbled by these nominations and I must say that I keep seeing God's miracles each day," Daddy Owen, who plans to launch his album in August 6, said.

Other artistes who got nominations include Juliani, Paul Mwai, Emmy Kosgei, Alice Kamande, Moses "Qqu" Odhiambo and Marvelous. Milele FM's Gospel Sunday and NTV's One Voice are also up for an award. The Groove Awards also features in the Best Event category.

The ceremony is scheduled for July 9 at the Ultra Modern Lighthouse Hall in London, UK. Expected performances will be from Nigeria-based gospel rockstar EBEN, South Africa-based Uche Agu, Nigeria-based Kenny K'ore and RoofTop MCs. Others will be UK's finest artistes including MOBO award-winner Victizzle, Sonnie Badu, Mahali Selepe, Diana Hamilton, Aaron T Aaron and Rebecca
