GRAMMY-WINNING GAITHER VOCAL BAND TO RELEASE

GROUND-BREAKING NEW CD IN AUGUST

Tuesday, August 10, 2010, marks the international release of a brand new studio recording by the Grammy-winning Gaither Vocal Band entitled GREATLY BLESSED. This stellar collection features new and classic inspirational songs and continues the group's 3-decade legacy of flawless vocals, brilliant harmonies and lyrical content that is timeless and rich in meaning.

Each individual artist comprising the all-star Gaither Vocal Band line-up is an accomplished talent.  The group includes legendary songwriter, gospel music icon and group founder Bill Gaither; multi-Dove Award winning male vocalist and producer Michael English; renowned Christian comedian and multi-award-winning solo artist Mark Lowry; five-year GVB veteran and Grammy-winner Wes Hampton; and world class tenor, beloved solo artist, arranger and producer, David Phelps. 

Drawing from the unique stories and strengths of each group member, GREATLY BLESSED includes an eclectic combination of contagious new songs, inspiring anthems, and fresh arrangements of classic favourites.  An audio sample of each song on the CD is available for preview at www.gaither.com.
