Hillsong Announce Release Of First Ever Global Album
London, UK: Hillsong Europe announced today that it is to launch its first ever global album, bringing together songs and worship from both the Sydney and London Hillsong churches. The album is scheduled to be released on the 5 July 2010.
A Beautiful Exchange features 12 fresh, new songs including the title track “Beautiful Exchange”. The song, “Fathers Heart” reflects the global expression of Hillsong Church, recorded by the congregation of Hillsong
London. The songs are an expression of the heart of this local church, which is globally extending one hand to their community and another heavenward in praise.
Reuben Morgan, Hillsong Church Worship Pastor explains, “This is Hillsong church coming together; this night is a prayer meeting where we come together from all over Sydney, together just to celebrate, to pray, to seek God and we just press record. You know, this is not about an album this is really about a church, a family getting together and really seeking God together and this project “A Beautiful Exchange” is a picture of that, it’s a snapshot of that.”
Also for the first time, Hillsong LIVE will be available on Blu-ray. This exciting new format enables the recording nights to be captured better than any previous album. In addition, both the Blu-ray and DVD also contain bonus songs from Hillsong London - providing a total of 17 new songs from Hillsong LIVE.
