Introducing the new kids on the block of UK Hip Hop, the 29th Chapter. This crew of unusual suspects are moving in with a view to taking over as they release their debut single Invincible under independent label TwoNine Records. Invincible is the first of three singles from their forth coming album due out end 2010. Fusing 29’s gritty yet quirky hip-hop style with a fresh electro-synth sound and an infectious feel good hook Invincible is the guaranteed dance floor filler for 2010. The single pays homage to the current fresh urban pop sound coming out of the UK coined by artists such as Chipmunk and Tinchy Stryder. Co-produced by Hanif Williams of Kobolt Music with breathtaking big beat and funky house remixes from newcomer Jimmy James productions and club track veterans LoverushUK! ("5 Reasons", "Fountains Of Youth", remix of Aviv Geffen's "It's Alright"). The single is supported by an outstanding comic book style music video by acclaimed Manchester production company Doodledo Motion (credits: Channel 5, Gold, Tiger Aspect, BBC). Having already achieved a chart high 6 on the iTunes Hiphop downloads chart and a high of 68 on the upfront club charts, Invincible looks set to be a mainstream hit and is definitely the one to watch this quarter. Hailing from all across the globe, but finding their home in West London the 29th Chapter have spent the last couple of years touring the UK and Europe. As a result of their unique trademark sound and explosive live performances the band has built up a considerable online following with an exceptional 17,000 friends on MySpace, 5000 on Facebook and a website receiving in excess of 130,000 hits a month. When it comes to the quality of their music and live performances the figures speak for themselves. If that was not enough state side hip-hop magazine sphere of hip-hop comments on the bands unique style: 2010 looks set to be a big year for the 29th Chapter. The record is already receiving interest with submissions a number of UK radio stations. The band is also experiencing considerable industry attention with a number of record labels showing a healthy interest. Over the next 3 weeks the band will be embarking on a promotional tour visiting and performing PA’s at over 20 secondary schools in the UK & Ireland.
