After the Release of Gotta Have Gospel 7, I thought there will not be another release until 2010 but clearly I am wrong because here we are with a fabulous contribution to the festive period.

Gotta Have Gospel Christmas following the success formula of all the previous volumes where only the world top gospel artists and songs are featured and for the Christmas project the line is what I call the ultimate dream team. So who is featured on this new project: Joe Pace & the Colorado Mass Choir, Handel's Messiah, Israel Houghton, New Breed, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Fred Hammond, Juanita Bynum, Kirk Franklin & the Family, Richard Smallwood, Vision, Martha Munizzi, Mandisa, Vickie Winans, Donald Lawrence &Tri-City Singers, John P. Kee & New Life Community Choir. Clearly with the featured artists above you are in for a real treat and the album is well balanced for easy listening and the tracks truly complement each other a truly joy to listen to because of the different stays that is birth on the project watch out for the jazzy number. I was hoping that they could have included a DVD with this album and featured more tracks and artists. I was hoping to hear J Moss, Smokie Norful, Mavin Sapp and Byron Cage to mention a few. Okay I feel it is time the label consider a UK album since they constantly fail to feature UK artists on these project because I am sure LCGC, Muyiwa, Noel Robinson, Ian Green, Mark Beswick, Raymond & Co and even the new joint from the 29th Chapter would have complement the album immensely. I have to score 4 out 5. BUY IT NOW
